AMBOSS as an overall resources has been quite the "one-stop shop" for me during my pre-clinical years! During the first two years of medical school I was very fortunate to be introduced to AMBOSS early and incorporated it as a key part of my study strategy. As I entered my first clinical rotation, the AMBOSS app on my phone was extremely useful for both overviews/tips in getting ready for the rotation (before it began), and also as a clinical reference while on rounds.

I found the AMBOSS Qbank to be vital to my success not only when preparing for in-house exams but also in preparing me for both Step 1 and COMLEX Level 1. The quality of questions and associated explanations all housed in a user-friendly and easy to navigate website are unparalleled. My understanding of pathophysiological mechanisms and basic science principles were exploded in a way that I hadn't experienced using other resources.

AMBOSS has been critical to my success in my MD1 year. By highlighting high yield information and providing succinct articles that summarize dense information into simple tables and graphics, I was able to use AMBOSS as a tool to supplement my studying, rather than adding yet another textbook to my piles of books already. The ANKI feature was invaluable, especially since the pre-made decks I used contained information I hadn't seen before. Lastly, the Q-bank was a great practice resource to not only help test my knowledge, but also give me a glimpse of USMLE-style questions. Overall, AMBOSS helped fill the gaps in content from my lectures and contributed to my success not only with my in-house exams, but also NBMEs. I plan to continue using AMBOSS extensively throughout my upcoming M2 year!

I absolutely love AMBOSS! It's my go to resource for almost everything, whether it be for helping me prep for case reviews, basic studying/exam prep, or just looking up random medical facts/information. It's seriously been a game changer in the way I approach med school. I definitely love the Anki add-on the most - it's the perfect tool to utilize, especially if you're using the ANKING deck. The best features are definitely how it auto-scans your cards to define key medical terms for you through a lil hover menu and pull key concepts out of the cards so you can make practice exams using questions from the AMBOSS question bank based off the cards you just studied. The integration is seamless too - both on mobile and desktop (which is crazy because most addons won't work on mobile). The medical encyclopedia included within the subscription is nothing to laugh at either - it has the knowledge of MULTIPLE textbooks all compiled into one easily accessible site/app. I can't even count the amount of times I've been sitting in class going like ??? to what the professor just said, but start to understand everything once I search up the topic in the encyclopedia. Lastly, the question bank is amazing - I've tried practice questions from UWorld, USMLE, Kaplan, etc. before, but AMBOSS rules king. For one, no other service lets you create sets from the Anki cards you just studied - doing practice questions right after Anki is critical because it's one thing to know the material, but it's completely different to apply it. Having the ability to do that with a simple click of a button is SO MUCH more helpful than you think. It's also pretty cool how they tier their questions (1 hammer - 5 hammer based on difficulty), which allows you to identify the level of your knowledge and gauge how well you really know the material.

AMBOSS to me is the most reliable third party resource for test prep. Not only is their Qbank resourceful with STEP style questions, but they offer a medical dictionary filled with terms and conditions. If I was struggling on a topic, I would always use AMBOSS in order to help understand what I was learning. Ever since starting on AMBOSS, not only have I seen improvement in my learning experience but improvement on my medical school exams as well. AMBOSS will be my go to not just for medical school, but for residency and beyond as well. It definitely is a resource that I believe not only not aides in our medical school journey, but a tool that can help improve our abilities to help our patients.

AMBOSS has made my life so much easier when studying for medical school exams. I personally love amboss and how it veers my mind in thinking. I personally have it up when we talk about a topic in lecture and compare the notes from lecture with amboss. I love to add the high important information features and quite myself with the questions. When the questions I do are wrong I love to bring it to the professor and we break the question step by step on how to come to the right answer

There's no other resource out there that offers such comprehensive medical information along with question banks. It Is so convenient to have this knowledge bank at my fingertips, making my studying much more efficient without the need to sift through numerous resources. I have Amboss readily available on my iPad, phone, and bookmarked on my computer, accessing it daily. I honestly don't know how I would navigate medical school without Amboss!

AMBOSS has been very beneficial in structuring my studying around USMLE STEP 1 and relevant clinical guidelines. With the question bank, I feel more prepared for my exams and have a better idea of which topics to focus on. I especially like AMBOSS's High Yield and Key Exam Info feature for each article. Additionally, AMBOSS's pictures and histology slides have made studying less stressful and easier. The information is well organized and relevant to STEP along with extra material that is relevant for clinical practice. As a first-year medical student, AMBOSS makes it easier to start studying for STEP earlier. I feel more relaxed knowing that I will be less stressed during my dedicated studying time for STEP thanks to AMBOSS. I feel more confident in my clinical knowledge as a medical student and am excited for the future as AMBOSS will be a great resource during clinical rotations and shelf exams in my 3-4th year!

I have been using AMBOSS to supplement my medical school curriculum since the beginning of 1st year and have found it to be one of the most impactful resources out there for both building clinical knowledge and getting lots of practice with questions. AMBOSS has been absolutely amazing for both studying for board exams as well as studying for second year didactic content. Being able to choose specific articles related to recent lectures I was given makes it so much easier to practice for upcoming exams while getting used to board style questions at the same time. The ANKI add-on is very helpful for me to find articles quickly on concepts from cards I didn't initially understand. Also, the ability to send links to practice questions to study with friends is great since I like to group study a lot so it gives us the opportunity to work through questions and discuss our answers. The q-bank sessions can be humbling, but they lead to a greater depth of understanding, down to a level of detail that will only make me a better physician than I would have been otherwise.

AMBOSS has become my go to tool when studying for exams or clarifying knowledge. I have found that the practice exam and study schedules have taken a lot of work off of my hand in regards to creating study schedules. In terms of clarifying knowledge the extensive articles with embedded hyperlinks to related material helps me quickly and effectively find the information I need.

I've found AMBOSS to be super helpful with all of my studying for classes and boards. I use the Anki add-on every day, and it makes it extremely easy to look up topics that you are unsure of as well as do question banks based on the cards that you have completed. AMBOSS also has plenty of study plans and crash courses to help you review high yield material. I personally used the M1/M2 summer crash course study plan and found it super helpful to go over the high yield topics that we should know prior to starting M2. I also use the Step 1 Prep Condensed study plan as well as the USMLE Step 1 study plan. These both are great ways to review content and test your knowledge to find your weak points in your studying for boards! The review articles are super detailed, but give you the option of either highlighting or only reading the high yield material. Also the explanations and overlays for all of the images help you to really understand what you're looking at from a chest xray, CT scan, histo slide, etc.

AMBOSS has been immensely helpful to my medical education as a user-friendly interface with unique features to allow for personalized and targeted studying that is more efficient and effective. As students, we are bombarded with information and resources and it can feel like we are always running out of time to get through it all. AMBOSS stands out as a multi-purpose source that allows us to filter through what we need at our stage of learning while complementing other existing aids. It has saved me so much time as an add-on to Anki since I can quickly look up concepts and terms without getting distracted, case-based learning has never been easier with the updated and clear guidelines for treatment, and I started building test-taking skills early on by using the detailed practice questions that I could customize by difficulty level to challenge myself appropriately. However, the most valuable part of AMBOSS to me has been the diagrams they provide. I have always found histopathology and radiology to be confusing because it was so hard to see what was being described: which dark blob or pink cell was I supposed to be looking at, were the arrows pointing at the whole thing or just a piece of it? AMBOSS changed the game by including overlays that could be toggled on and off the image so that the described structure or feature was entirely highlighted and I finally saw what I was supposed to be seeing. AMBOSS has been an invaluable tool to my learning that I wish I had started using earlier, and I am constantly discovering new ways that it can help.

I absolutely love AMBOSS! I use it every single day to either learn more about a specific condition or do practice questions to prepare for an exam. The platform is so easy to use and always has the information I'm looking for in a concise and easy to understand way!

AMBOSS has been sincerely clutch for me. I started using it during the spring of my first year in med school, after most students became comfortably getting into the swing of things. I was an okay student, and for the most part I was surviving my courses. Then I did poorly in the hematology curriculum in our class. Something had to change. Somehow, incorporating AMBOSS into my routine took me literally from scoring B's on tests to acing them, thanks in part to being able to sort practice questions by the individual article they were derived from (which allowed me to curate my curriculum). AMBOSS really worked for me in then, and I still use it borderline religiously to this day. Other features of using AMBOSS have also been really helpful. The AMBOSS add-on, which I use both on anki and on google, brings me the context that I desperately needed when self-studying topics. For example, this summer, I was painstakingly memorizing endless useless facts about micro-organisms and pathologies that my school never bothered to cover. The moment the AMBOSS add-on became a thing, my understanding of these concepts suddenly deepened, and anki became less of a useless memorization struggle and more of a way to memorize AND learn new topics.

AMBOSS has been a necessity during my preclinical years. It has been an amazing resource that I can use to reference when I have questions and test my knowledge before school exams. Before AMBOSS, I struggled to succeed on my school exams. However, after buying AMBOSS, I was able to transform my study habits and become so much more successful.
